You don’t have to put the passcode in every time you use your watch. 😊 You only have to put it in once when you first put your watch on and then your watch ‘knows’ it’s on your wrist and you don’t need to put the passcode in again until you take it off and put it back on. It won’t ‘lock’ when it’s on your wrist. Also, you can set it so if you just unlock your phone once when you put your watch on, it unlocks your watch.

Hey Julia! you can have the pin for Apple Pay but not your watch! The pin is just instead of FaceID like you do on your phone. That way you don't just accidentally make payments if your wrist is bumped. I also love using Shazam on my watch when I hear a new song and don't know who it's by! Another fun thing, is you can have your watch match your focuses on your devices so your watch will match your phone if you do focuses for work, personal, gym/ exercise, etc. Ex. My Personal focus is set to turn on an hour and half before sleep focus but I don't get notifications or haptics from unnecessary things when I am trying to wind down. That option really allowed me not have work be 24/7 on my mind or be worried about people always needing me at ungodly hours. I have used it for work too, so only work related or emergency things happened and were sent to my watch during work hours.

I was intimidated by the stand goal at first because I didn’t realize the hours meant “each hour”At first I thought it meant stand for x amount of hours not 1 minute of standing/moving for each hour. Wearing on the ankle to get steps on a treadmill is a great idea, never really thought of this before. Also yep the GPS directions are near. I use Apple car play but having the little beep/vibrate depending on what I have it set on for turns is great.

the bear notes app is a great app to take notes on apple watch and put as a lock widget so that I wont loose or forget things :)

Hey Julia, one of the perks with having a passcode on the Apple Watch is being able to only type it in when putting your watch back on. I checked the watch app and I have mine selected for Wrist Detection so when it is not on my wrist my watch is locked and then I just need to put in the passcode once after putting the watch on my wrist. There is also an option to change the passcode and to use a simple 4-digit passcode to help with making it easy to remember. I also have the option selected to use my phone to unlock my watch (your phone must be unlocked and watch automatically unlocks. I have the Apple Watch SE, so I assume all watches have these options. I also wear mine to sleep and I have no problem wearing it - but everyone is different.

For the passcode:n it's only for when you take it off and put it on again. You don't have to type it in constantly when wanting to use your apple watch. I wear mine daily and find it so useful to monitor all my notifications and manage some small actions so I don't have to use my phone all the time and battle my addiction haha.

⌚️super helpful for a first timer Apple Watch owner lol , so excited to test out the new water drinking app. I actually used the fitness app when I went swimming today , must admit it was very cool being able to track that. I love using the sleeping app to track my sleep, I wake up looking forward to my sleep results lol 😅 thank you for sharing all your tips and tricks !

I don’t like having a passcode on my watch. However, if you ever forget your Watch passcode, you have to reset the watch to factory settings, set it up again.
