I have the same iPad with Julia, just recently bought it with the Apple Pencil as well🥰 I found it GAME CHANGING! I’m gonna be a freshman in college, so I have to do quite a few prep work, attend workshops, etc. If you like to take notes / annotate readings digitally I definitely recommend buying an iPad ( of course if it fits your budget, it is definitely not a necessity ). An alternative to the magic keyboard that julia recommended is the Logitech brand, it works perfectly and it’s cheaper!😁

A more budget friendly version of the Apple air tags are the “tiles”! They come in multi packs too and you can track wirh the app on your phone :)

Her suggestions: -iPad Pro (11”) or iPad Air 4 -iPad Case -MacBook -Airtags (there are cheaper alternatives out there too!) -Speaker (She has an apple homepod mini) -Headphones!! (If you have school computer i recommend wired ones, because some bluetooth stuff can be blocked / airpods are nice for personal devices :) / noise cancelling can be great too!) - PORTABLE CHARGER (Make sure to have some cords for your school devices so you can use it for anything!) -Pencil pouch just for your wires (Yes just yes) -apple watch/smart watch (Fitbits can be great!! Since some schools require you to have smartwatches put away, so if you just need to tell the time get a regular watch that looks nice too lol) -amazon firestick (for tvs if you have one!) -long charging cord (Yesss this is so necessary. At least 6’!) -wireless charging pad -led lights and/or string lights - polaroid camera :>

love this video, and love how you always say to do researches and understand our needs first, literally love it. also, to someone who just needs the ipad to take notes or have books on it, I would suggest the 8th gen ipad (the apple pencil is cheaper because it’s 1st gen) with the biggest storage space possible. Also a keyboard that isn’t too expensive but really useful is the logitech combo touch keyboard, nice touch and has a touchpad too. btw, I agree with almost all of your must haves, this video idea is so cute and I find this idea extremely cute and kind for you to just think about what we could like and what we could need.
