This is probably a really dumb question, but how do you tell the difference between warm and cool tones? Some I can tell, they're obvious, but some I can't tell

MrsHughes 2000 cool tones have more a grey undetone to them, they are not a “bright” the are more mutted than warm tone. (My opinion hahaha)

I get where you're coming from and it's hard to explain on writing. How I learnt was to watch KZbin videos on warm vs cool toned eyeshadow looks. I know Jkissa has a really good video in it and a few others do too. This way you can actually see the palettes and the difference in colors.

MrsHughes 2000 look for videos on cool toned eyeshadow palettes! I was also confused about this but I watched some videos of people ranking and showing only cool toned eyeshadows and it really helped me see the difference!

came back to say that the tapping and swirling while holding your brush at the end gave me some really good results. i can now get all of the pigment out of my morphe 35b. do you think this technique would work well with colourpop shadows?

Monotone never looks good on my eye. If I want a colorful eye look, I always mix cool and warm tones. Grey and reddish berry, coral with neon green lol. Otherwise my eyes would look wired and muddy. Love your eye looks tho ❤️💙
