To be honest, I am not impressed by the way Haaland plays, yes he has very impressive numbers, but at a technical level he is not very good. He seems somewhat clumsy to me. I think he is just at the right place at the right time to finish plays and he makes good use of his large build. We'll see how he plays outside of the German league. Alvarez is more complete as a player, with better technique, ball control, vision, an overall skill.

And to be honest, I don't compare players unless they have very similar characteristics in playstyle, which isn't the case. For example, in my opinion Bruno Fernandes is not as good as Bernardo Silva; on the other hand, I wouldn't compare Haaland with Álvarez, or Mbappé with Messi, since they all are different type of players.
