bangtwister Lucky you, he must have been great to see live! After seeing this I've been looking at his other works and love his unapologetic sense of camp humour. Thanks again for uploading!

Julian Clary appeared in Australia and it was a sell out performance. Can be very funny but on the other hand he can be downright sarcastic
@EvilBunny04012 жыл бұрын
You again? Why the hell do you watch this if you don't like him? Let me guess, you've commented on all of the other videos with the exact same insults?

Shockingly weak material Clary was working with here, he's lucky that crowd was so forgiving.

I think it's reflective of the time.

I was in the crowd and quite scared he was going to pick on me. A lot of people were nervous, it was a bit on the edge at that time. 1989 i think.

Yes, bangtwister ... he was brave, it's very brave to just be your self. The atmosphere now, in 2022, is so different. People have no idea! Julian Clary & others made all of this possible.

Thought he was so cute on What a Performance commenting on Camp. Had never heard or seen of him before. So decided to look up his stuff. His "comedy" has killed it for me. He's just not funny. Too bad, cause I really wanted to like him. Twelve minutes into it, I had to stop it. Surprised he wasn't heckled off the stage. He was dying up there. Stalling, stalling, stalling. Jokes not that funny. Painful to watch.
