He's really really good & it was a tough loss to lose him. He was a man amongst boys, but he does play in AA, the 2nd smallest division in PA. He has shown to perform well against national talent in the camp circuit though.
@KevinWidesouls4 жыл бұрын
fanman71 To be fair, PA isn’t like Texas or Florida in regards to the talent gap between the different classes. In any given year, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see a AA school in PA beat a AAAA school, especially if that AAAA school was from anywhere but Pittsburgh. Overall, I wouldn’t pay much attention to school size or class designation when trying to evaluate PA high school football players.
@fanman714 жыл бұрын
@@KevinWidesouls I would disagree w/ you there. The best AA programs would still have a substantial difference from the best AAAA programs vs AAAAAA....IN MOST YEARS. This Southern Columbia was the most dominant AA team in history, 32-0 in the last 2 years. In large part to Fleming. Most years the small schools are not nearly this talented. Also a lot of talent resides in the east now. Many of the top teams are in Philly now.

He runs so smoothly and catches the ball so naturally, he is Odell but 6’2”. He’s only going to get better too. Ohio State is going to have Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson and Julian Fleming rubbing routes with Justin Field’s throwing the ball. Maybe, just maybe Ohio State can convince JK Dobbins to stay and that might be the greatest offense in college football history.

I play for the Upper Dauphin Trojans, currently going into my senior year next year and Southern Columbia is definitely one tough team. The whole normal season we crushed people with 30 point leads. Played them in the quarterfinals and lost 60 something to 22. We put up a fight though and we scored the most against them than any other team that season. Right off the bat on the first play Southern had, Julian almost caught a 60 yard bomb down field. Dudes fucking insane

I went to Mount Carmel and It’ll be weird to see Julian compete at this level because in our little rural AA area a handful go D1 but no safety’s or corners ever, most of these teams would win at most 2-3 games a year. Plus he was always bigger than everybody so facing up against scouted/ranked proportional defensive backs well see how real the hype is, Im hoping the best for him though incredible he came out of the Coal Region!

Here’s the even more crazy part to , that no one talks about , those numbers he put up so far , breaking all the records in PA and deff would be some in the whole country would of been broken in his sophomore year . Teams are usually mercy ruled to start second half and starters not playing pretty much half the game . Then you still hear the HATERS talk smack that he’s over rated and in college he’s going to flop. I have had the pleasure of knowing this kid , my son grew up with Jules , was his team captain one yr , won a couple state championships together and a Allstate selections together and let me be honest all the talent on our team and on any other opponent teams , Julian is in his own solar system and that’s a under statement he’s a freak !!!!!! He was raised very well , super smart , humble , well manured, very respectful, hungry as F$&k , works hard every day in the gym , I could go on and on !!! Then there’s the haters that still have something to say even when he leaves there kid laying in the dust . I just have to laugh and say are you fn serious !! Can’t wait to see him play in college and shut the haters up , even though it won’t be at Penn State I still can’t wait to run my mouth back at all these local haters !!! Man I can’t wait lol. Great program you give credit where credit is due !!! love how ya do a good mix of kids positions and how ya show there different roles and how you don’t knit pick. You remember that there still very young and the skill at that age. WOW !!! Great program !!!
