Julian is absolutely lovely. Thanks to his lovely mum. He got everything good from her and a few good parts of his dad. Such a beautiful soul, despite everything that was done to him. John was a terrible dad to him and was an absolute fool to leave Julian's mother.

Talented or not this guy wouldn't be known to anyone if it weren't for his great father. He owes everything to John Lennon. This guy is who he is totally because of his father John. Talent or not so many fall unknown. This guy owes EVERYTHING To JOHN LENNON WHOM he was lucky enough to be the offspring off. I wish he's stop shitting on his great father because until he's done what that great man has done ie change the fucking world and made it better, than he ought to straighten up.

scotty are you kidding me? Julian has every right to say what he's saying. His dad may be a great musician, but John was a terrible father to him. Left him at 5 years old for yoko, had no contact with him for a few years all because of yoko, once shouted at Julian for laughing and enjoying himself, he Gave more love and attention to his brother Sean than what he ever gave Julian. It was only until the end of john's life he finally realised he had to be a better dad to Julian and made an effort finally, but he unfortunately died.

scotty true very true. Everyone acts like John was suppose to be a saint. John was human and not perfect no more than the rest of us. A lot of families break up and life moves on.

@@skyone4950 No one judges John for not being a saint, or imperfect. He did a lot of things as a father that would make you wish you weren't his son and that's what they talk about. If you don't want to accept it, that's fine, but stop trying to show that someone else has the problem for not accepting John's nature, when no one is to blame for the way he was and nobody should have paid for that either. If you are going to point the finger at someone other than Julian, it is not his fault that he harbors resentments for a father who sacrificed him for other things that he consider more important than him. I don't see how that could be his fault. His father humiliated his mother both in public and in private, abandoned him, and put him at risk when he was a child, see the reality. Families break up and move on, yes, it's true, but those families respect each other and don't hurt each other. And if they do, they apologize, John never did that. I do not know about you, but I could never forgive any of that and unless my father says in front of the whole fucking world that I come from a bottle of whiskey. I would probably spit in his face and tell him to fuck off. Remembering that, Julian does not owe his father the best words and yet he rarely speaks ill of him. Although "speaking badly" would mean saying what he really thinks and what anyone with a little practical sense would see that he is right. But hey, everyone will continue to justify it because at the end of the day it is John Lennon, the legend, if it were someone else they would find this unpleasant, but the point here is that it is a legend that must be respected even in the worst things that he did not because he was human but because he's a legend and that's it. Nobody here cares about his humanity or his imperfection, they just cling to whatever it takes to justify his behavior and even John didn't go to much trouble to do that.
