Gonna see a lot more surfing like kanoa's now that Style is no longer part of the criteria. Don't know if recreational surfers will stay interested in watching this stuff

Kanoa is good, but I can't help feeling that he's regularly overscored in the heats I watch him in. Like, his scoring waves seem to me about a point above the average they should be (8.00 rides turn into 9.00 rides etc). Throughout all of the Vans contest this was the case, and I thought yesterday he was overscored again. Like I said, he's really good (8.00 rides are excellent), but he's being overscored.
