In this latest song Omukwano Ogwedda, ‘vintage’ Juliana Kanyomozi has been resurrected for all to see, right from the beginning of the video, when the old school record player starts playing, to the entire film set I get sense of ‘deja vu’ I feel all those great memories flooding back, to me this is the very reason why I fell in love with her music and her artistry all those years ago! by the way, you don’t have to listened to Juliana's songs before to enjoy this latest gem, because all the good ingredients are beautifully mixed and balanced! Apart to the vocal prowess, Sylver Kyagulanyi has once again rejoined team JK to deliver the lyrical content, he is such a talented songwriter that whenever he gets together with Juliana in the studio the results are pure gold! I have to give credit to John Segawa also for his outstanding acting contribution, whoever was in charge of casting did a great job! Juliana’s outstanding acting deserves a mention too, it is a performance of a seasoned actress, very understated and heartfelt. I love the lyrical content of this song for it maturity and treatment of a very important subject that matters to all of us, marriages/relationship go through all sorts of happy and challenging situations, and over time change happens on both an individual level and relationship level, it is a fact of life! I can’t think of anybody who could have delivered this ‘beautifully haunting’ song better than Juliana apart from Toni Braxton! The vocal performance on this track is, in my opinion, is Juliana at her very best, a true master of her craft and veteran in the show biz game, when she sings the line ;… Gwagenda gwagenda aha, simonyi oba gulidda …” is sufficient to reveal the "sadness and the longing" in the song.
