The greatest love song ever written. Not surprised Dylan wrote it.

I have been a Dylan fan since 1964. I do not usually like covers of his songs. However I found this by accident and I love it. I have added it to my favourites, and subscribed to your channel. I think you should sing your parts separatly, It would be an awesome duet.

However, your the only subscription I have on youtube and thats because I think your voice and talent is really something..you make music not everyone with a guitar and a voice could do, there's really something special about that. And it doesn't hurt your extremely attractive..beautiful and talented-always a winning combination.

Lovely rock-solid right hand work, man. This is an excellent cover; really well arranged. The reverb is a bit distracting at that level, but I'm listening on minuscule PC speakers, so I may not hear what you heard when you mixed it. I'm coming back to this one. Love it. Second only to The Seldom Scene's cover.

I am only hearing this heartfelt cover of this enchanting Dylan masterpiece (how many has Bob penned), for the first time. So well done guys. Prior to this I have heard what I considered one of the best covers of this piece by Emily and Andrew of Mandolin Orange. Their version done from what seems to be a year later than Juliana's and Trevor's rendition. Strikingly very similar in the interpretation of this tune. Give both a listen and see what you think. Both very worthy contenders. In this case we the listeners are the winner. Dylan's music is timeless and will be heard adinfinitum. Our Shakespeare - Our Poet Laureate. Happy Trails Y'all! be heard adinfinitum.

How wonderful... thanks for sharing this with us. I love the duet... most duos do call-and-response, and they almost always get the genders opposite from how they have been in my head since I was a child listening to this on reel-to-reel with those huge 1970s headphones. (I always assumed it was the woman who left, but many duos give those verses to the guy. It feels like a completely different story that way. More abrasive.)

Oh I'm sailin' away my own true love I'm sailin' away in the morning Is there something I can send you from across the sea From the place that I'll be landing ? No, there's nothin' you can send me, my own true love There's nothin' I wish to be ownin' Just carry yourself back to me unspoiled From across that lonesome ocean. Oh, but I just thought you might want something fine Made of silver or of golden Either from the mountains of Madrid Or from the coast of Barcelona ? Oh, but if I had the stars from the darkest night And the diamonds from the deepest ocean I'd forsake them all for your sweet kiss For that's all I'm wishin' to be ownin'. That I might be gone a long time And it's only that I'm askin' Is there something I can send you to remember me by To make your time more easy passin' ? Oh, how can, how can you ask me again It only brings me sorrow The same thing I want from you today I would want again tomorrow. I got a letter on a lonesome day It was from her ship a-sailin' Saying I don't know when I'll be comin' back again It depends on how I'm a-feelin'. Well, if you, my love, must think that-a-way I'm sure your mind is roamin' I'm sure your thoughts are not with me But with the country to where you're goin'. So take heed, take heed of the western wind Take heed of the stormy weather And yes, there's something you can send back to me Spanish boots of Spanish leather.
