I live nowhere near good waves an the sea is 45min away and full of trash I sometimes get anxiety when I haven’t been to the ocean for long periods of time but the channel helps!!!

I’m 13 and I just woke up one day and decided that I wanted to learn how to surf. I live in Southern California 30 minutes away from the beach so I’ll see if I can try it out this year 💕 it sounds so much fun since I’ve always loved the beach and water as long as I can remember lol

I’m 13 but I decided I wanted to learn how to surf when I was about 2 or 3. I live no where near an ocean so I’ve never been able to even try. This has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. My family and I visited California recently and went down to the ocean, I saw so many cool surfers and it looked like so much fun! I don’t know if anyone cares but I hope to go to a college in Hawaii one day to go to school and learn how to surf. Thanks for reading my comment even though there are 142 others you could’ve read😅😊

I'm going away for 7 months to all surf locations and I vow to get to a good level. I'm still a beginner- I live near the Canadian Rocky mountains so downhill skiing was my surfing but I have always had so much curiousity towards the sport. These women are incredible.

Thanks for your comment. I just want you to know that the girls that I feature in my edits are/were from the WSL (World Surfing League) tour or Qualifying Series. It turns out that 22 of the 29 girls on the tour have blonde hair. You can also look up the names in my description. These are women that are all amazing & beautiful in their own way and they all have an incredible story to share. I've started to watch surfing because of them. I'm sorry that you see my videos that way and that it created that effect on you, which is not what I am aiming for with the edits. I am also sorry if any girl other than you felt that way.

It's a common problem in the surf industry that if you're a woman and not pretty with a beautiful body, you're basically invisible regardless of how good you are in surfing. Especially when it gets to sponsorship. Check out for example: kzbin.info/www/bejne/anu2p4Kgi6ucrLM As you can see there are also girls who won championships that do not fit in this stereotype. I wished we could see more of these girls in general in the surf industry! I'm sure there are more of them.
