Hey lady! I'm a big fan of your videos. Please know that you being open about your finances in your business and your being pretty authentically YOU is why my mom who is in her 60's and myself truly enjoy these videos. I say this in hopes that you can ignore the fools who judge you for doing business the way you want to. (Honestly, I think they are jealous). I love watching you learn and grow in your business. To us you are pretty Bad A**. So if you can, just keep doing what you're doing.

@@alishasimms2846 Lol this made me giggle 😂 Just to add on to your comment, it truly isn't bad for Julianne. She does cons basically full time. This is her job and she made a profit. So yeah, you're absolutely right. It's not bad at all! Deciding whether it's reasonable for her by using our individual circumstances as a measure isn't fair here.

@saintnikz Nah, I wasn't criticizing Julianne, nor implying her perspective was skewed given the pay of my profession because it's the profession I chose. The exchange regarding my given profession was directed solely to alskarmode and no one else. If it offended, it wasn't my intent.

dang I'm sad I found your blog after the kon, because I'm also an artist at kawaii kon and I would have loved to have met and chat with you! I was another two rows down at the end where the bathrooms were, and I totally agree that it was a slow show this year, I barely managed to turn a profit and I'm a local artist haha! But its so great to see you enjoy your work vacay! Also wanted to say that I appreciate that you give your numbers- I'm from Hawaii and want to make a goal of being accepted at a mainland con, so seeing the numbers from an artist who is essentially doing the same thing but in reverse helps me plan my goals too!

Was this Kawaii Con this past year 2024? First year going to one because my son wanted to go. I was so overwhelmed with all the artwork that I felt nauseous trying to take it all in! I looked around hoping to find your booth but couldn't. Super bummed.
