So true like, especially in self-employment but also in many high stress jobs for actual companies you can't always take a break when you want to if you want to keep that job. Or taking it now puts even more on you later. It's tough but I honestly think you're already doing the best thing which is recognizing your own energy cycle. Work sometimes just sucks and it always will

Sorry to hear that you are hitting that burnout stage. I've been in retail/retail management for 25 years now and that stretch from early Oct til the end of Dec is always a major crunch. It's good that you are recognizing the signs though as seeing the crash coming helps you take steps to push it back until you can actually take the time. You're doing great and just keep being the best you that you can.

I ask because I’ve been watching your channel during one of the lowest parts of my life and it’s helped me hang on to the idea of one day doing what I love for a living. Burn out is something I know all too well 😭 I work a graveyard shift 1 am-10 am and then try to focus on my small business as well and now that it’s starting to take off it’s even more challenging…

Oh my God…. I love how you have expressed burnout and stress. I’ve been feeling it so much especially during fall and winter. I crochet, paint, create stickers. And I love creating but the selling part and business part is just not my thing. But I have to. And then I have people in my life who are love giving advice like you should market this way and do these things instead. It’s just frustrating sometimes. Also with bullet journaling I realized I have to find a different way to bullet journal. I think I am going to do more scrapbook style bullet journal. My tasks are the same for the most part from day to day. I don’t know. I’m just venting on here. Hope you figure everything out and get to enjoy your time off.

I think the black Friday thing happened because you had 2 back to back shop updates. I bought all the goodies to support you during the shop updates :) and then by the time the black Friday with awesome discount came in... I didn't need anything anymore :)
