I love pumpkin and chocolate. When the fresh pumpkins start flooding the stores and fruit stands, I always buy at least 7. I roast the seeds, use the pumkpkin juice to make pumpkin cider and the flesh for pastas and desserts. Also, I make pumpkin appleauce. You can make it with store bought applesauce and canned pumpkin. I make fresh when I have fresh pumpkin. Serve it warm with pork chops or pork tenderloin.

Pumpkin is such an underrated foodstúff. It's rich in vitamin A, potassium and micronutrients. It can be included in many non confectionary dishes. I feed it to my cats every day along with their meats and pate. I use it medicinally for them with spring water and goat milk. So when are you inviting me over for lunch?

Pumpkin pie is one of my favorites, my 17 year old daughter made a pumpkin pie the other day with a graham cracker crust. It was so good, much tastier than a normal crust. I think i liked it better that way. Thanks for the new pumpkin ideas, the pumpkin spice cake cookies are on my list now lol

Wonderful recipes! Thanks for sharing. I'm a big pumpkin fan! FYI Pillsbury makes a Zero Sugar yellow cake mix, a chocolate cake mix and a brownie mix. Haven't tried the brownie mix yet, but have used the zero cake mixes with recipes similar to Julia's and they worked out.

Thank you, Julie! I made the Choc Chip Pumpkin Cookies and made them Sugar Free! They were delish! I used a Pillsbury ZERO SUGAR classic yellow cake mix. I added one egg, two teaspoons of vanilla and a teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice. Used a hand mixer. They were a little too dry so I added a little bit of water to get just the right consistency. They kept the shape and look like bonbons!

I made the cookies at 8am this morning so I could include them in my husbands lunch for the day Kitchen smells amazing and so glad it’s only 3 ingredients Ps Butterscotch chips are just as good as chocolate
