I would highly recommend to buy extra supplies so your not having to spend double the price during the middle of the semester. I had a few extra notebooks that I got really cheap before the semester started and ended up using them in the middle of the semester.

Just one notebook, a folder/binder, some pens/pencils/erasers and a backpack. Some people carry a laptop or tablet to college and take notes there. It also depends on what you are majoring, it's not the same for an English major than for an Art or Architecture major (I was the latter, and my supplies list was endless that I still have a closet full of supplies).

alana pehlivan hi! i know i’m not her but i’m entering my last year of college so i might be able to give you some advice! congrats on going into college!! school supplies are really minimal in college, all you really need are notebooks, pens/pencils, a nice calculator if you’re taking math classes, highlighters, flash cards, and maybe a folder or a binder for papers professors give you! most, if not all of your assignments will be done online. i have only ever done paper assignments for math classes and no other class has had them. of course, this is different from school to school, but most schools follow that system.

alana pehlivan this year all i bought were highlighters, pens, a notebook, a folder, and a flash card set! a planner is optional but i think they’re really great at organizing everything you have to do! it’s easy to forget assignments in college since you’re on your own, so a planner can help you mark important dates, homework assignments, and other things!
