Igon out there converting us non-summon players through sheer awesomeness. Can't imagine doing this fight without him.

They really nailed the lore summons is SOTE. Before it was like Nepheli being like "please summon me" and then you do and it makes no difference. Or even back to DS1 or DeS... just no payoff. SOTE really made the lore dialogue pop. Igon is peak, but there's good stuff from a ton of summons (Ansbach in particular) that makes the lore really go harder. But yeah, after all is said and done, Igon is the only one I will summon in perpetuity because "CUUUUUURSSSEEEE YOOOOUUUUU BBBAAAAAAAYYYLLEEE!" is fucking awesome.

@@Beluga_Too That's kinda good to know, because after using Igon and Ansbach (the latter one only a few tries, I felt the increase in HP actually made it harder) I was wondering if I was missing a bunch of great dialogue all this time by not summoning.

Glad you summoned Igon for this battle. He's a mandatory summon, like Siegward and Yhorm. You just have to take him to fight Bayle, it makes the fight more epic.

Ayyyyyyy! Glad u summoned Igon. I did that fight with him cuz he's cool as fuck. The fight itself is true spectacle tbh. And Igon, he just turned it up to 11. Curse u Bayle!!! Will forever live in history fr. Once again, u did better than me on this fight, holy shiet. I heard ''curse u bayle'' like 4 times or sum 😆 You've been kickin ass on this playthru Jules, hell yeah haha. Lovin it 💯 (Super glad u post these on YT. It was impossible for me to watch these live atm. 'Cause of work. One day tho, I'll be back, I hope hehe)

Even with, you still have to dodge and survive switched aggro of the boss cos they can target you too and ignore summon. summons die too if they are left with the boss alone. also, I use them to have a breather at times and be able to switch my spells cos these bosses are a bit too aggressive at times. @@apc6539
