You really should not skip around. Each song throughout the series has meaning and shows how julie develops her confidence. Also pay attention as the series goes on, julie and her clothes choices changs. She starts with a baggy sweatshirt and those slippers. I think everyone will agree you need to follow each episode. It tells a story. You made my night since I did not see the notification.

I love Luke, he’s definitely my favorite character. He is really passionate about the music and as you go and start learning his backstory and realizing why you learn there is a lot more to him. hannah don't be shy watch all of them they're not that long! if it helps they kinda work in arcs, so 1-3, 4-6, then 7-9, you can separate them in 3 videos and you don't feel like the end of the episode is sudden and weird, they wrap up in 3s pretty much. so you could just do a video for 2-3 to finish this arc, and then 2 more videos for the rest, that way it's still a few videos but it doesn't feel endless

You really have to suspend disbelief and just enjoy the ride with this show. There are plenty of completely unrealistic plot devices and things that just don’t make sense in the real world. But the characters, their growth, and relationships are just so delightful. If you can overlook the silliness of the situation they’re in you will absolutely fall in love with them.

I completely agree but I realized something the other day... Julie and Carrie were friends because their parents must have been friends. We all know that Bobby is Carrie's dad but we only saw a little bit of Bobby back at age 17. If my theory is correct, Rose is Julie's mom and Bobby and her became friends after the rest of the band died. They grew up together and when they had children, they wanted them to be friends. Sorry I needed to rant somewhere about this. And sorry if that doesn't make any sense.

@@vetacramer2411 yeah I’ve always assumed it was something like that and that Bobby’s family originally owned the house where the boys rehearsed (it’s the only thing that makes sense, otherwise whose house was it?) Rose was 100% julies mum, it’s been confirmed. When rose meets the boys she’s wearing the same jacket that Julie wears in finally free, and the band stubs stuck on the suitcase of julies mums clothes are labelled “rose and the petal pushers”. The theory is that the “petal pushers” is a reference to ghosts (because when people die, the saying is that they are ‘pushing daisies”) and that Rose had the same ghost seeing abilities as Julie and at some point she had her own band where she played with ghosts (the petal pushers)

@@amycope7970 Yes. It is pretty obvious that Rose is Julie's mom. I was wondering who's house it was when they rehearsed when they were alive so that would make sense. We also don't know how the bond between them and Bobby were. Luke would have needed a space to sleep after he ran away and it would make sense if he stayed at Bobby's house. You can see how happy he is when he yells "MY COUCH!!!" That is what he must have stayed on.

I think that in the end, the last episode Carrie realizes how wrong and mean she's been to Julie and how much shes really been struggling and how strong Julie is. Carrie is very self absorbed. There doesn't seem to be a mom in the picture just her dad who is the same way. You can tell Carrie just wants attention and thinks fame will get her that.

Luke is a great caracther , him and julie have a special connection and the boys helped her remember how much she loves music and that she connect to her mom that way , he is a very energetic person , well , soul and him talking about feeling alive it's cause he gave some things up for music and he would give more to continue to play

So glad you finally watched the first episode! I think you should watch the whole season: it cuts off abruptly because the next episode leads off directly from the previous one. So you can’t really skip around episodes. It’s a pretty short series so maybe you could do a video for episodes 2-5 and another video for episodes 6-9 (or a video for each episode would be awesome too!).

Watch the whole season - each episode has something different to add, and while the later episodes have a little more flavour the earlier ones are still great, and provide the foundation which makes the later episodes work. Just watch them all, you won't regret it :D

When you watch the whole show episode by episode you really have a full picture of the stories, songs, characters development (especially getting to know stories behind Luke, Julie's grief and Carrie give so much meaning to it all), otherwise there will be things that make no sense at all. It's a kind of a show that you either watch whole or not at all. Those little details on the way make a huge diference. Also if you liked Jeremy's song Ballerina (the one for his wife) you should react to his other songs, that guy is so talented it's amazing, also Madison dropped her own song too! It's called "Te amo" There are also acustic versions of two songs from the show: Bright and Edge of Great and a shot by shot comment on the song Flying Solo by the cast, if you want to check out more of Julie and the Phantoms content

I definitely think you should watch the whole show cause that's really the main way you fall in love with the story and the characters (like at the beginning I also didn't like Luke very much but by the end of the show he was one of my favorite characters)! Also, you should really react to some songs from the Netflix series Centaurworld because although the story is pretty weird, the songs are actually pretty good and it would be entertaining to see you try to understand what was happening!

I suggest that you should watch the episodes in order so just do one at a time. Julie and the phantoms is one of those shoes that you can’t just watch one random episode or you’ll get lost. It’s the same with the songs if you think about it. Anyways I promise you it gets better and you’ll grow to like Luke, trust me.

I love your reaction but please just try keep in mind that this is still a show directed towards kids. The hotdog death seems weird but its friendly and makes sense to an adult that it was probably a horrible case of food poisoning due to the not so sanitary conditions of their food. Also they weren't making fun of the girl about the pep rally or being girly, they're just "enemies" and don't like each other so they're always digging little jabs. ❤ can't wait to see more, i think you'll enjoy the story alot more in its entirety if you react to all the episodes.

You should just watch episode two next. The reason the episodes end so suddenly is because they pick up in the same spot next episode and because they were all released at the same time (august 2020) they want you to binge it.
