Do you have to have the black specific scanning mat in order to scan your drawings?

I have the original machine and you can scan using any mat.

okay, so I've been able to cut out a stamped sentiment i.e., "for you" - my question is how to get it to cut both words as one. In other words, instead of cutting each word - for and you - I want them to cut a s one sentiment - "for you". Is this possible?

It is possible to cut them out as one. It is how you group them. Contact Brother directly to give you the instructions.

Can ScanNCut cut the glitter card stock made for the criket

I am not familiar with the cardstock, but if the Cricut can cut it then the Scan n Cut should be able to too.

She isn't using any glue. The sheet is adhesive.

I have never connected my Scan n Cut to a computer. I would contact Brother directly with your question.

No. However, you can take images from the computer and put them on an SD card, to transfer to the Scan n Cut.
