I absolutely love this song. I love all of Fowlis's work, but there's something about this song that is breathtaking in how it starts off slow and soft and ends up getting very exhilarating towards the end-something like flying, I would imagine. Fantastic!

Saw Julie last night in concert in London, for the 3rd time, i only "discovered " her at a Spell Songs concert just over 2 years ago, but im captivated by her music and singing, despite the fact i only know one word of Gaelic (Alba-Scotland), that doesnt matter. Its terrific, easy listening music and makes me yearn to move to my ancestral homeland of Scotland. What a wonderful talent she is, backed by her husband, Eamonn (on the bouzouki) Duncan (on the fiddle) and a guitarist (apologies, i cant recall his name). Cant wait until Julie's next concert.

Maybe this is weird, but I’m autistic and I’ve started stimming to this song every day, rocking back and forth flapping my hands, or spinning around and dancing, or other stuff like that. It’s really great for that.
