Julie you are such a darling fresh and beautiful soul. Many would have completely abandoned God and the church because of how unfair life has been for you and the tragic mistakes of members towards you. But you are a valiant brave strong woman and the Lord fought hard because for you because He needs you back in the fold. You are an inspiration.

What a strong woman. My heart goes out to you for all the trauma you have been through. I have been through some, and apparently still need to work through it, but you are a light and your strength let’s others know they can do it. Bless you! My husband and I were sealed in Payson! If I would have found these podcasts a year ago, I wouldn’t have to binge listen right now. They are incredible. Thank you!

I have many family and friends who have left the church or are on the fence. I wish there was some way I could share these videos without offending them. I have now watched Dusty Smith, Morgan and now Julie's reconversion stories that I have been so inspired. It's sad that so many members listen to anti Mormon KZbin videos in which they have lost their testimonies...

Julie, you are so brave. D&C 76 uses the words "valiant in the testimony of Christ". Merry Christmas. The Gospel is true even if some members commit really bad things. How sad. Sometimes some members are too "busy" or judgmental to stop and help the member who has literally been mugged and left to die on the side of the road. It can take a while for that good Samaritan to come by. Sometimes it is the perception by the wounded that there was "nobody in that ward or stake that would help or listen to me". Which is hard to believe if the church is true, right? I mean, there would have been ways for that visiting teacher/prison warden to work around it, delegate to a friend. But the main thing as you said is that Jesus never gives up and He has angels working for Him. I love how President Hinckley used to say, "things will work out". Modern-day Prophet and Psalmist summarizing your and everybody's journey. Praying for your mom and siblings.

This last year I had been watching a few KZbin channels talking about why people leave the church hosted by people who have left the church. It has been very interesting. I have come to better understand why people leave the church based on their experiences and their interpretation of the events in their live. I have learned to be less judgmental about those who leave the church and more accepting.

I have a similar story. My Mormon husband beat me so bad when I discovered he had a girlfriend in our ward, that I had to learn how to read and write again when I got out of the hospital. My entire ward turned their back on me and shunned me. My best friend carried me to the bathroom and married me to put me on insurance so I can get care. After the church found out that the person who married me was female, excommunicated me. I had zero family around, they were half a country away, and I was too medically fragile to be transported to another state. So my ward family turned their back on me, and then the entire church turned their back on me. In my darkest hour of life, my best friend stepped up. She cashed in her hundred thousand dollar 401(k) and put me on her insurance after marrying me, so I could be taken care of. Which do you think I’m loyal to?

Those people that may seem to be forgotten now need our love even more than ever. People have their agency, they will be punished for their sins, life isn't fair and a lot of times sad. We all have our own trials and don't always understand. Life is a test that is complicated at best. Love is what breaks those nasty chains that bring us down. I don't envy people that go through things like that, but I know they need our love.

Things to research when it comes to the LDS church 1. Kinderhook plates 2. Book of Abraham 3. JST 4. Polygamy and marrying girls who were already married. Jesus was a polygamist and so is God the father. Creating many spiritual beings. Mormons want to become like God and they believe that there is polygamy in heaven. 5. Racism in the BOM 6. The golden plates 7. There’s no archaeological evidence 8. There is certain agriculture and certain farming equipment that could not be possible in the times of what Joseph Smith says in the book of Mormon 9. There is a bunch of the New Testament in the book of Mormon, which doesn’t make any sense because it predates it. 10. Joseph Smith’s dad was a Freemason and most if not all temple rituals in the LDS church are from Freemasonry 11. Joseph Smith was a treasured seeker before he apparently found the gold plates. 12. He translated the book of Mormon by looking into a hat and not looking at the golden plates. 13. Use the same hat and rocks for treasure digging 14. Spaulding the author and the three heavens theory 15. The book called the view of the Hebrews 16. Joseph Smiths Mom said he used to Love to make up stories 17. He was arrested multiple times for doing illegal things 18. When he died, he had a gun on him 19. The forever changing doctrine in Mormonism 20. Mark Hoffman 21. Meadow Mountain massacre 22. DNA on the Indians proof that Joseph Smith was wrong about where the Indians came from. 23. Blood atonement 24. The oath of vengeance 25. Spiritual wifery 26. God was a man before he became God

When you seek answers from the Book of Mormon instead of the Bible, God can't help you because you have turned your back on Him. Therefore this leaves the door open for Satan (II Corinthians 11:14-15) to step into your life with a false christ or prophet showing you signs and wonders to lead you away from the real Jesus of the Bible who is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity. God Himself warns us about this in MATTHEW 24:23-24 "Then if anyone says to you, Look, here is the Christ! or There! do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect..." Mormons teach and believe that their jesus is the brother of Satan, which contradicts what God says in His Bible that Jesus is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity. So Mormons, which Jesus do you believe in? A). Your jesus of the Book of Mormon who is the brother of Satan. OR B). The Jesus of the Bible who is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity.
@bjtaylor4360 Жыл бұрын
We believe Jesus is God's son and brother to satan and in the trinity , God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost. The Bible , The Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants and Pearl of Great Price all go together. They are all Gods word.

Al, you really need s hobby. You're coming onto a podcast where people vulnerably tell their stories of returning to Christ and his church, and you spew your derision and self righteous condescension? Really low.
@AlbertJLouie Жыл бұрын
@lemjwp17 Well, it's a public site open to all opinions. This is American, right!? What I am doing is trying to show you from a Biblical point of view that the Mormon church is worshipping the wrong Jesus Christ. Therefore, saving people from eternal judgment. And my goal is with a sincere and caring heart that is non antagonistic but truthful. But don't think you and the Mormon church have some kind of "moral high ground." I would like to point out that it was the Mormon church that has attacked Christianity first when Joseph Smith said that "all the churches are wrong and an abomination before God..." (Joseph Smith history 1:19), for over 192 to this day the Mormon church has supported their racists doctrine that all blacks are cursed, and let's go back in time to September 1857 to the MOUNTAIN MEADOWS MASSACRE in which Mormons lead by John D Lee murdered 120-140 innocent men, women, and children of the Baker-Fancher wagon train. Later before his death John D Lee confessed that Brigham Young gave him the order to kill all those innocent people. And to add insult to the victims. The Mormon church names a university after Brigham Young (BYU).
