Love this woman, never lost herself like some of them do....always remained rooted and totally English.....Best of British....she's been in a lot of our thoughts this week with us losing the lovely Victoria Wood the other day.......wouldn't be surprised if she stopped working in the industry now but I hope she carries on because I wanna see her talent even when she's 90 ....a truly great person

Rare human being who has played so many really complex and very human characters. Julie seems to 'inhabit' the character, almost like a 'Shaman'? Very unaffected by the ephemeral applause too. ; ) K
