12/31/2023 this is the first time I hear of not placing a water feature on the right side of front door way. Now would that be on the right side if your standing outside looking at the front door? or would that be standing in your home looking out, on that right side?

I would like to know this too - the photo shown indicates a water feature on the right side while standing inside the home... is one on the left okay???

So a bathroom to the right of the door would also be problematic? How can you cure a bathroom to the right of the door?

Odd, somewhere I heard that placing a mirror in front of the door acts as repellent of bad energy. Interesting that feng shui differs.

Hi Julie I’m afraid chi would be confused in my home when entering. But at least Chi would be certain there is a path to follow for flow!

I think the bathroom is ok bc it is not a feature the way a fountain or pond would be. So it’s fine. Of course one should probably not see the toilet bowl when entering the house. You can always keep the door closed but many bathrooms are so beautiful there is no need and candles take care of noisome odors. Powder rooms are especially beautiful with their bold wallpaper and mirrors.

@@youbetcha108 Thank you. You can’t see the bathroom as you enter but it is on the other side of the wall as you enter. I do have bold geometric wallpaper in there!
