Thank you for your knowledge! You make it simple. I have now begun taking picture's as I place pieces in each room. I rent a Town Home and have too much furniture for each room. I will be moving in one year so I have decided to rent a storage. I wish men would build, but not design. I have built so many homes. As my abilities grew I began placing furniture in each room as I drew the layout of each home. I found this helped me, but also the builder. We could communicate easier. They would always put the heat vent under where I knew the bed should be placed🌝

Julie, I really appreciate your narrative style, with so much information presented in such an organized way, interspersed with cuts to visual examples and diagrams and written details. After your kitchen feng shui, I put a plant on a shelf by the sink, since it was opposite the cooktop, to blunt the opposition of fire and water. My bedroom was a bit of a challenge, but I believe it is 95% there. My nightstands are 3” too tall, with pesky poison arrows. That’s my 5%! One thing I will start doing is closing the bathroom door at night. I can already see it will be a nice touch

I am happy to have happened upon your site! As someone who has tried to follow Feng Shui for some time, I am grateful for your expertise. I am an artist so often begin to feel weighed down by clutter and have to step back and rethink things. I am planning a move soon, and while I am excited about this, I foresee some issues with my "new" bedroom. It has some odd corners, (a small recessed area next to a closet making that wall incompatible with a bed). Two other walls have a window, and the third the door. It is a smaller sized room than one sees in magazines. The only options to place the bed (so as not to be in the "death position", ) are to place it either; 1.off to one side near the recess, slightly over that window, 2. on the opposite wall in front of the window, sideways to the door, or 3. with the head of the bed on the same wall as the door alongside. (I would only be able see the door in this last position when I turn my head to the left.). None of these options are optimal. My question is which would be the best choice in this case? Thank you for any suggestions!

Love most of these solutions. However, I live in Florida. Ceiling fans are a way of life in almost every room with the exception of the dinning room.
@mygirldarby3 жыл бұрын
It's like that in Georgia too. I can't imagine sleeping without a ceiling fan. Mine is above my feet so I guess it isn't as bad. I do have a second smaller fan that I use mostly for white noise. I guess I could position it to direct air flow to the bed, But that could bring bad chi too I suppose.

It’s all about making the principles work for you and your lifestyle Cheryl and Darby! We simply have to prioritize what we can and create better energy for things that must stay 👍🏻☺️

@@mygirldarby Oh my gosh! I live in the south too (Florida) and have the exact same thing. A ceiling fan above the foot of my bed and a smaller desk fan on the dresser just for white noise. LOL, I even keep that little fan on during the winter months too. I have to have that white noise from that fan! I thought I was the only one that did that.

I love this series. I know our bed is in the "death" position but the entrance door is on the center of the wall and our room shape doesn't allow for moving the bed. Our Victorian home has small bedrooms so I'm afraid there isn't much we can do. Plus the ceiling fan is essential during the summer. :( I love all your helpful tips.

Hi, I just started watching your chanel and I instantly fell in love with your videos! I am new to feng shui and I am a student so I dont have seperate bedroom from "office"/work place, and I've been searching a lot for ways to improve feng shui in my room but I find it nearly impossible seeing the rules that everyone talks about, so I was wondering if maybe you could make a video about making a bedroom that is also a work place and a closet at the same time into a place that feels better and has a better chi flow.

I learned a lot. I have tried to use these principles in my small, one bedroom apartment, and the only problem is the ceiling fan. It's government housing and I'm not able to make changes. However, I have added live plants and soft colors and nice artwork. The fan helps me sleep comfortably and does not distract me. Thanks for your info. 😊

She was relieved that since I staged her bedroom, she can sleep very well overnight now. She has not been sleeping well for two years. Take it with a grain of salt and give it a try. If it doesn’t work, you can alway move your furniture back. If you look for good results, you will find it.
