New makeup artist here.. I am in love with the 3 gram container ideas! I bought some the other day with some crazy glue and they stack so well and I even depotted my NYX jumbo pencils into them and they fit PERFECTLY.

Glad that helped Payton!! Just be sure it's not the regular triangle sponges that come in the blocks :) They have to be the jumbo wedge sponges!

I am trying to become a freelance MUA and primarily focus on bridal application. I don’t have a makeup kit yet. But I wanted your advice. While I’m working on getting my makeup kit should I also be working on making business cards/social media/website in the meantime even though I don’t have a portfolio of makeup work I’ve done on other people. What do you suggest?

@@nardabeautyglow That’s so exciting that you want to pursue bridal artistry :) when you are first getting started, building your portfolio is by far the most important! I wouldn’t even worry about a website or business cards right off the bat. Getting practice is first :) once you have a pretty good idea of your style or how you want to advertise yourself, I would then started trying to building a social media presence and start forming connections with others :)

Hi Claudia! Thank you for saying that :) You can honestly put whatever you want into a touch up kit, but I like to do at least a sample of a persons lip color and powder/oil blotting sheets. Beyond that is up to you!
