Hi Julie...I have also used moss from DT and put it on the Styrofoam, and doing a lighter color didnt work for me, however I found a way around it, If you first spray it with a clearcoat sealer, let it dry, and then do a light color, it will then take and the green doesnt come through

I love love this wreath.! I love sunflowers also. I crochet sunflowers from small to really large wall hangings but never thought of something like this. I will be making this. I have about 30 40 rolls of all this type of material that I collect after sales and now I know what to do with them other than just Christmas. I looked at all your other wreaths, I love them too. I plan to make different ones.

I'm watching you on KZbin Feb. 4, 2020, so you are making the smaller 'Lazy Susan'. You were saying you had trouble getting the spray paint to cover the green center. Maybe you could use a primer, and us a sponge to cover the center then spray . I am not sure, but maybe Lowe's or where ever you buy it , maybe they would make it any color you want just like when you buy paint. I'm 70 yrs. young and have never made a wreath before in my life. However after watching you, I just might try. I lost my husband (we were married just short of 49 years,he is my soulmate), anyhow it's just been hard for me to really get interested in anything. Well, you probable won't see this but, God Bless and I really did enjoy watching.

Oh Shirley, I’m so sorry for the loss of your husband. I challenge you to get the materials and make this wreath, I think you will really find making and creating something like this can be really therapeutic. Hi Houma, LA here. Love the wreath. I don't know if it would work but spray the felt with a couple times with an adhesive then put a coat of mod podge then spray with a color you want. It might be more time and money but if it works you'll have a choice.

If you spray the moss with hair spray,, after the paint dries, it will not shed.Beautiful job.

Hi I really wanted to do a different center with the sunflowers and boom. I see this!! I am also a Quilter and I found burlap by the yard. i will need to use Fray Check adhesive to keep it from fraying. It is a cheaper way @ $8 a yard
