wow dancing with props is really hard and I am impressed with anyone who can work a prop while they dance but to be wearing her prop and removing it gracefully and seamlessly like that was stunning:) I love this dance!

Amazing acro and and amazing dance. I love her transitions and anyone trying to argue that it isn't dance because dance is "about expression" and that it's gymnastics is obviously not a dancer... her dance was beautiful and perfect just how it was.

@OWCHables A. its not acro, she incorporates many technical elements of other styles B. even if it was an acro routine, that is still a form of dance. You obviously dont go to real competitions at the level of difficulty these girls go to because you would know the different categories and styles. She is beautiful, SO TALENTED, and deserves nothing but applause and appreciation from her viewers. She has many other videos posted where shes "dancing" as you say and she is just as amazing.

Clearly she has kick ass flexibility and her techinque is there. But i feel this style should have been put in an acro category. That is not to say that she didn't do other beautiful lyrical or contemporary themed moves, just that there were a lot of tricks she carried out quite beautifully that were more of an acro style. Say what you want but I stick by my opinion. However, I want to make it clear that I am in no way discreditting her as a dancer.

@OWCHables I dance as well. For you this might not be traditional ballet dance, but it is a form of beauty and art. Not everyone's a ballerina, this girl is just doing contemporary/acro. I guess your not familiar with other types of dance, too bad.

she IS talented.. no doubt about that.. but I think there were too many tricks and flexible stuff.. I know acrobatics is aform of dance but then this solo should be in that category.. but it's not specified in the description box so I'd like to know. because for me, it's more acro than lyrical/contemporary. maybe it's in the open category but there are definately too much tricks.

EXACTLY!! we need to use ballet as our foundation, not gymnastics. gymnastics i find is not artistic at all, and dance should be about artistry and passion, not just technique
