I read several of her books years ago. I was soooo enamored. I want to start listening to them on Audio. I'm starting with Daughter of the Forest. Thank you for this video.

Marillier is an absolute queen of (forest-y) spring vibes, imo! ✨✨✨ Thank you for making this video - it's really nice to have an overview of all of her (currently published) books as to know what to read next. It's particularly helpful when more obscure titles are in question 😊 Oh! Also, I'd recommend Blackthorn & Grim for people who like mystery genre 🕵♂

Agreed, excellent spring vibes! Yeah, Blackthorn & Grim would especially be good for fans of cozy mystery Glad it was helpful!

This is so helpful! I started with Daughter of the Forest and that is still the only one I've read so far, even though I absolutely adored it! Good to know where to go from here. I would like to finish out at least the first Sevenwaters trilogy first, though Blackthorn & Grimm also really intrigues me, haha. Thanks for sharing this!! :))

the video has arrived!!! with my limited Marillier experience, I definitely think Blackthorn #1 is a good starting place! I think the one I started with was Wildwood Dancing which I also think is a solid starting point like you said! also yes I would specifically NOT recommend Cybele's Secret to people LOL

IT HAS ARRIVED! 😁 Apparently there was supposed to be a THIRD Wildwood book?! But it got scrapped

Ohh yay I’ve been hoping you’d make a video like this eventually! I have read part of the Shadowfell books but I wasn’t sure it was the right place to start because it doesn’t seem to be her most-loved work compared to other stuff.

Glad you enjoyed it!

Great video! Daughter of the Forest is one of my all time favourite books. I've read DotF , Wildwood Dancing, Hearts Blood and the Shadowfell series. I have the Blackthorn and Grimm series on my shelves and I once found a copy of The Dark Mirror on a charity table at a hardware store, of all places lol. Unfortunately, her books are not easy to access here in Ireland as far as buying online (they're definitely not in physical shops) as they are so expensive and usually only come second hand. Second hand doesn't bother me but the prices can be so steep 😥

That sucks that they’re so hard to access. Wishing you good luck finding them!
