Einer der schönsten Märsche die ich kenne. Urbanec hat dieses Stück wunderbar interpretiert. Beste tschechiche Marschmusik-Tradition.

Thank you for your correct answer, I didnt know better! His mother came from Seelowitz, a village with major czeck (Moaravian) inmates, but she was really in the house of shuggar baron Redlich at Hedonin near Brno, in German Göding. And the little boy she gave live was from there, not the Slowak Masaryk was his father

@sddavid40632 ай бұрын
Not the king of Czech marches but one of the best composers of the Austrian Hungarian K.u.K Monarchie. Nothing bright at this level since this period in central Europe.

Fucik is much better than Sousa! Sousas marches have all the same sound! If you know one - you know all.

Wonderful, very fast played, but I must state to the czech uploader of this vid that at the lifetime of Julius Fucik the land he lived whas named Kingdom of Bohemia in the k.u.k. Austrian-Hungarian monarchy, the czech or czechoslovakian state was formed end of october, 1918, a year after Fucik died! The czechoslov. republic was foundes by a man named Thomas G. Masaryk, born 1849, his mother a geman (austrian) kitchenhelp in the household of shugger-baron Redlich, an illegitim son of him.

helldamnation13 Well, you need to understand that the Czechlands are composed of Bohemia, Moravia and part of Silesia,therefore there's nothing wrong calling him Czech.

Is this recording available on cd? If yes, under which title?
@petepak12 жыл бұрын
wikipedia: His father Jozef Masaryk (Masárik), an illiterate carter (later steward), was a Slovak from the Hungarian part of Austria-Hungary (after 1918 became the eastern province of Slovakia in Czechoslovakia), his mother Teresie Masaryková (née Kropáčková) was a Moravian of Slavic origin but with German education. They married on 15 August 1849. Tomas Masaryk was born March 7, 1850.
