I have the exact same plane. Mine although is Balsa and plywood. Also electric powered with a power 60 swinging a 15" 4 blade prop. 6' wingspan and weighing in at 9 lbs. Great flying plane .Job well done on yours Sir. Your house looks like mine with R/C stuff, everywhere. Arrgh!

Pak, you need an LED floodlight up on the ceiling of your workshop. Maybe 200 watts or so. For better video lighting. Shadows falling on the model. Fantastic video, Pak!

Report incase anyone interested, built this and boy does it fly well mine was a tiny bit more heavy due to covering but all in all a great plane to build if your moving from high wing to mid low wing planes , cost … about 30 /35 uk pounds all in better than the free wing version easily bigger to . But yes great plane don’t second guess it build it !

Sanding must be done before covering with packing tapes. Even if you use packing tapes for bending wing or fuselage parts for example, you need to peel off all the tapes before sanding. For painting over packing tapes, you need to spray or coat the surface with plastic primer, otherwise the paint will not stick. Thanks btw

Pak, why no plywood formers in the centre wing to receive the screws? Are they not required? Also, another separate question: Can i use 70mm EDF (12 blade, single motor) with 80 Amp ESC and 4200 mAH 6s Lipo battery (65-70C)?

In the process of building this myself, but I was thinking, instead of putting 2 AA batteries in the tail for c of g , why not move the elevator and rudder servos to the tail area then that way they offset the weight caused by the batteries to balance the plane
