以前にリクエストをいただいたので弾いてみます。
ユリウシュ・ザレンプスキ(1854-85)というポーランドの作曲家の作品です。大変優れた能力を持った人だったようで、リストの教えを受けた時期もあるそうですが、惜しいことに31歳という若さで病死してしまいました。
今日取り上げる舟歌は、彼の早すぎる晩年に残された大作です。

ぼくもポーランド史となると、ちゃんとは全然知りません^o^;;　 色々な国に色々な隠れた作曲家がいることでしょうね。これからも探索を続けたいです。

could you tell me any tricks to learn a piece faster, i would appreciate it.

I have no "trick" to tell you but a only way to learn a new piece... 1. Before playing, read the score carefully and sound the music precisely in mind. 2. Begin the practice from such a slow tempo that you can play through the piece without interruption, by each hand if necessary. 3. Gradually raise the tempo until you reach the desirable one. 4. Read as many pieces as you can and avoid spending too much time on a single piece. Good luck!:)

How are you able to have the time to provide us with such informative and useful content? I don't think you are a musical savant, therefore you have to invest your time and effort to render these pieces in your own style. How are you able to do this?

Thank you for appreciating my work. Actually I teach at a music college for 20+ years and recently found it fun to sight read rare pieces and to upload videos of them. It's been my best hobby now:)
