It's the 4th of July and it sure was busy. The sand was eating everyone's lunch, even the 4wds. Luckily most of the jerkers were out there.

Yeah I’m sure getting all tires sunken deeper helps with the pulling 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Hey man, thank you again for helping me out when my hubs went out. You even went above and beyond to take the hubs off to check them out. Hope I see you next July under different circumstances lol. I'm the one with the red lifted f350.

Ah yes. I remember. And carry a spare set of super duty hubs now. See you out there next year.

Do you think many of these people would have been able to get out with just some recovery boards?
@Land_Raver8 ай бұрын
The thing about recovery boards is that something has to change once you're out. If you aired down and you weren't to the frame, then probably. If you change nothing and manage to pop out, you'll likely be in the same situation in 10 feet.

What's the benefit for doubling tow strap length at times. Just puts you on better sand? Or is there physics involved with doubling the length of strap?
@Land_Raver8 ай бұрын
Just so you're not pulling through the same area again and again. Once you've had dozens, of vehicles get stuck in the same spot, it's beneficial to move to where the sand is as loose.

it can also possibly put you in a position of pulling down hill rather than uphill

Are these people not airing down first?

Watching some of your other vids wanted to ask why 4x4 Toyotas get stuck so much? Are other 4x4s just better designed or is it bad drivers?
@Land_Raver8 ай бұрын
It's like 80% driver and 20% vehicle. The Toyota driver typically has been led to believe they are reliable, and a logical leap leads them to the word capable as well. They can be if set up properly, but all vehicles are basically the same and are subject to physics.

Jut for context i think the Tundra is not 4x4 in this video, or not engage. If it’s 2x4 then the driver needs to refrain going to these beaches using that same truck
@goldsilverbroke78Ай бұрын
Because toyotas actually go places...you see them get stuck because they are doing what they were designed to do...go off pavement

Best off with a Toyota landcruser no problem built for getting out of sand 👌
@Land_RaverАй бұрын
They get stuck out here, too. The best way to not get stuck is with 37" tires or bigger.

I feel like I have been seeing some repeat offenders making appearances in multiple videos. You need to start making a tally when you are underneath hooking up the strap. “Land Raver jerked here”
@Land_Raver8 ай бұрын
Yes. I need to make stickers to put on their vehicle. Most of the time they admit that I've pulled them out before.

Hot sand is no joke, you guys have to much horse power. Slow in sand is always better when the area is flat. Fun to watch though, that tundra was useless in the sand.

This is ridiculous. I feel bad for your city government and officials wanting to ban beach access
