Today’s photo is from the 1940’s and shows an aerial photo of Clemson during war time.
The 1940’s were a key time at Clemson, and many things took place that still impact the school today.
In 1942, the War Department gave an occupation permit for lands to develop the Issaqueena Bombing Range in the Experimental Forest.
Tiger Rag was introduced at Clemson by cadet and band member Robert Dean Ross (Class of 1948).
And Memorial Stadium was finished.
