why would you ever need to take brood and stores from the colony you are just weakening them

@@Iemand-q826 If you had a dead out, in my case I need to reduce my hive and the frames I took had chilled brood and old nectar and beebread that wax moths got in.

@@captbriansbees they might die from sicknes in that case it might be better to melt the wax because you wil eventusly have to swap those old frames out
