Thank YOU, KZbin, YOUR timing was perfect (as usual). This last case was LIT enough I was worried about landing. When you showed this artist; the first few picks, I couldn't believe it yet and refused to listen/watch. Then Insta second YOU and showed her first on opening, LIVE. I still didn't believe YOU TWO.... "It's live. Let's see what KZbin & Insta are sending." She was performing, solo, guitar, at a restaurant maybe. The instant she started singing we could breath again - "there it is": not gassed, not deceived, not trying to trade for something, not engineered or produced, not trying to wield: the real thing, for the right reasons, the right way. .. 💯 TY LADY. You should learn Joni Mitchell's "Circle Game." It is a beautiful song in open G and it is not excruciatingly difficult to play on guitar. You did a pretty good job on "People's Parties," Joni Mitchell's vocal range was phenomenal. I think you did fine. Mitchell's guitar chordings are very unique - she wrote the book on using non-standard chords and invented some special tunings. I would suggest spending some time on KZbin to learn how to play some of her songs. There really are some wonderful "how-to" videos for most songs on the guitar. I used to spend hours "picking out" the melody and chords for guitar songs written by other people to learn them, but with the advent of KZbin videos on songs, it has become easy to learn songs written by others. I play and write original songs on guitar and I find it interesting that you enjoy just sort of practicing various songs almost every day in front of an audience. It is not something I would do. I spend literally thousands of hours practicing my songs with no audience in order to hone and perfect them. But you do a great job singing ad lib. My practice sessions every day have greatly improved, but I would not want to show them to thousands of viewers lol. Hopefully, I will get better 🙂.
