The Triumph of Christ
2 Corinthians 2:12-17
Sermon outline:
1./ Paul's Troubled Mind - verses 12 and 13 form a transition from a narrative of Paul's dealing with the Corinthians to his teaching on suffering in the church.
2./ The Triumph of Jesus - Christ is leading the triumphal procession that Paul's speaks about. There is victory in Jesus.
3./ The Leadership of Jesus - Paul views himself and all believers as being led by Christ in this triumphal procession. Paul is led as a captive. Paul is led to be an aroma. Paul is led not to be a peddler of God's word, but a faithful minister.
