I just wanted to say that I really enjoy your uploads for two reasons, 1) you don't do a million reviews and try to get people to buy things, and 2) you rarely switch out your covers, and it's awesome to see someone using the same cover over time to see how it ages and holds up under all the wear and tear we tend to put them through. Your cover is my Dream Cover , and if I can't afford to get my own then I'm going to enjoy watching you use yours lol. Keep up the great videos, and have a fantastic weekend.

"Back Planning"! I love it. I do the same thing. I love the flexibility and the room for serendipitous events. I have one notebook for running lists of things to do, or to buy, or random ideas. But the things that actually happen are in my Daily Journal and form a permanent record of my days. I refer back to these journals often. I include titles of books read, work accomplished, places I've gone, videos watched, people I met, expenditures, my wins of the day, "aha" moments, delightful observations, and some health tracking. Running through it is a theme of Gratitude, because everything I write in my Daily Journal is positive. It shows me the small steps of progress I am taking. I keep my Daily Journal in a simple Composition book from the Dollar Store that I cover with scrapbook paper, so it is both pretty and functional. My nod to decoration is the use of different pen or marker colours to highlight different categories. Each day I use a two page spread, but I have room to write more if I need to. I have been using my Daily Journal now for seven years, and it is a real anchor for me, and provides structure in the midst of turbulence. My forward planning goes in a dated weekly agenda -- appointments, deadlines, and activities to participate in.

I fell in love your single washi per week system months ago. As a newbie, I didn't invest in washi right away. So I tried a different colored magic marker on the edge of each week, to see if I like it and I do! One thing that I've seen people say is that washi adds thickness to a page... marker doesn't! The functionality of this practice is that it helps me find my week faster. I know that this week is the "purple" week... so I don't even stop at the orange week or the green week. The advantage of coloring every week is that when I get to a blank edge, I know that I've gone too far. I know I've spring boarded off your idea, but thanks so much for the inspiration. To pretty up my planner I like to use different color pens, hand lettering, sticky notes and simple doodles. I have tried stickers and washi but they just seem to take up too much room, but I use them occasionally and I want to use them but end up not using them. Thank for sharing! I love the idea of using bullet points to journal! I'm going to try that out! My favorite part about my planner is the memory part!! I was going through some old planners from high school and college and it was so cool to see how I use to plan and how it still so similar to how I plan now at least the color pens and journaling part. I really didn't know then that I was a planner girl.

I am ordering a Planner Perfect planner for 2021, but it is so hard for me to choose the cover. They are all so beautiful. I will not have a lot of pages between each two page month. Very nice setup. 🌻😎

Planner Perfect is gorgeous! but is that $20 for ONE notebook? I like how practical and manageable your planners are. Very useful, and I appreciate it -- and you.

Yes, a blank journal is $20, but the quality of the paper and binding will last forever! So if you like to journal and keep your journals, this is a great choice. Also, if you use it like I do, then an entire book can last more than one month so you only need a few books per year. Anyway, I realize it's a pricier planner, so I understand that does not fit everyone's budget. You do what is best for you :)

I do something similar. But I also add a newspaper clipping if anything really happened. I like the idea of menu planning. I like your setup. Do you have a b6 size travelers notebook by chance. If you do could you do a video on how you set it up and what you use it for?

I love the newspaper idea! I do not have a B6 TN currently. The closest thing is that I have a stalogy I use for sermon note taking and that is in a B6 Moterm cover.
