I used Beowulf Grammar last year for my 4th grader and I did 3 days a week. This year I am continuing it and I brought it down to 2 days. We have only done a few weeks of school this year but I am definitely enjoying 2 days a week better with a 4 day schedule. If I did a five day schedule I would do 3 days a week. I really enjoy it and so does my daughter!

Thank you for your input! ❤️ We do our main work 4 days a week, and another day of the week is only BYL. I may keep Beowulf at 1 day a week for now.

Love your content! I search for your videos because we use Build Your Library and my middle son is Grd 8 this year...so I like to hear how it works for others. I have always done my 10 and 13yr olds together in younger grade BYL because I feel that BYL is so rich even in the early years. However you are inspiring me to split them and try letting my 8th grader be more independent with perhaps grd 7 or 8 BYL curriculum

Why do you think your older son had Covid twice? I barely survived Covid, so I try to keep knowledgeable about the changes and prevalence of the illness.

We think he did because he was sick, was getting better, then got sick again. We were thinking maybe it was a secondary infection but his tests became really positive during this. Luckily we are all better now!
