During the Friday sermon at Saiyed Haqqani Jama Masjid of Khanqah-e-Arifia, Naqib-us-Sufiya Mufti Muhammad Kitabuddin Razvi emphasized the foundations of Islam: sincerity, goodwill, and serving humanity. Citing the Hadith, "Ad-Deen An-Naseehah" (Religion is sincere advice), he explained that the essence of Islam is to ensure the well-being of humanity. Referring to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, he highlighted that giving charity is a great virtue, but even if someone cannot give charity, protecting others from harm or refraining from harming them also earns the reward of charity.
He mentioned the teachings of Sufi saints, stating that acts of goodness benefiting others hold greater merit. Mufti Sahib stressed that on the Day of Judgment, the most valuable deeds will be those that bring joy to others, and the closest path to Allah is through serving humanity. He expressed concern over the growing evils of social media and the declining role of parents and community service, urging everyone to avoid these harmful effects. This sermon addressed various contemporary issues faced by society and families, offering practical solutions, and sharing it with others contributes to spreading the message of Islam.
