All his bagua articles are rich and bang on. His movements are precise and logical. He is one of the few "real" bagua instructors teaching today.

Super. Thank you so much. These are the ''hard work'' drills.The Kung in Kung Fu. Of all the different systems I've ever studied or seen. Pa Kua takes the cake as being the most complex and difficult.Some of these arts will not work in any practical fashion until you have spent many years mastering them. Even after twenty years these arts may not work under hostile conditions until the student has reached a very high level of skill. When the student reaches a very high level of skill. These arts not only work, they work with amazing success. This is an all or nothing endeavour. You either have very high level skill or almost nothing. But then there is the health benefit to consider. And the meditation aspect to consider as well. Good luck on your journey. All men are brothers. Overcome the darkness. Return the light. Peace.

After watching this, I went and contacted yin style baguazhang (through their website) and bought 3 videos. Thanks for posting this. I never would have paid that much without seeing a preview.

@curtrod Жыл бұрын

In the Upright Chopping Strike WHY IS the STANCE SO WIDE??
@stefanschleps87585 жыл бұрын
Try it and see. First with a narrow stance. Only shoulder width apart. Then with a wide stance. Jimmy the narrow stances are always for speed and mobility. And the wider stances are for real power. Henry doesn't think so. But then Henry doesn't know everything. Neither do I. But what I just said is true. Body mechanics and physics are pretty much the same for every human being. Good luck. Keep practice. Peace.

Look at this and ask yourself: is the obvious power generated by this player arising from muscle tension and contraction?
