Most simple answer? Akimbo mozam closes the skill gap as they are broken as can be so they were not able to out frag other teams as they would be in other torunaments (for reference akimbo mozam had around 1100 kills during the lan and the second closest weapon was the Nemesis with less than 400). Also this meta (newcastle, crypto) does not suit them and they didn't adapt in time, this shows why scrims results cannot be taken that seriously
@neris_fps3 ай бұрын
@@averagebeetle Additionally there was horrible zone rng for them the entire finals and the few zones that were good for them they fucked up. Also it was pretty insane how much they got punished for each and every mistake. If you want a more thorough analysis you can watch Priv4cy vod of him analysing it.
@SightlessRain13 ай бұрын
the answer as to why they did so bad is actually really easy to figure out, but the biggest one is the meta. Having Genburten on Crypto absolutely killed his potential, but its also not like they had much of a choice with new castle being in meta. Falcons is also known to be very bad at anchor like comps, they are much better at brute forcing they're way through lobbies.

I fucking love Competitive Apex Legends. From the X games & Poland to now the ALGS & EWC. Alliance finally wins a LAN for EMEA, Nothing but respect for this Trio. Game 10 of the last chance Qualifier had me dying from the literal Los Angeles heat, TSM not qualifying & a bit of alcohol. The amount of TSM throwing was insane... I hit 158 BPM lol, I didn't even hit that when I saw them play live here in LA. (The production team hiding the scores was fucking amazing!!!!!) They finally used the APAC South white dots for easier team information! I've been complaining about that not being in ALGS Pro League NA or EMEA since they 1st started using it in APAC S. Seeing Pathy being played

Haha I love the passion. The cool thing is, from my understanding, a lot of those new production ideas were implemented by people who work on ALGS and would've debuted at this LAN if EWC wasn't a thing. I'm unsure what is better: the emotional highs of an unpredictable final, or the satisfaction of a predictable winner proving that battle royales aren't just about randomness. I think we often don't recognize how much credibility the Apex scene has gained through players like ImperialHal and Zero, who demonstrate that being the best means something, even in a game mode as chaotic and random as a battle royale. That said, I don't think this final was particularly good. Yes, it was entertaining, but if we see too many finals like this, it could seriously harm Apex's credibility as a competitive scene and reduce it to being seen as driven by randomness rather than skill.
