You could also use the plastic tube the ornaments came in to align the ornaments in a row.

Yes, that's a good alternative if you dont have those paper towel tubes. The plastic tube may be slightly roomier inside but at least you can see through it to make sure the balls are lining up straight. Thanks for the suggestion! 😊
