One of my favourite podcasts for a while, there was such a good chemistry between all three of you. Rob’s positive energy is infectious.

I also skate boarded before aggressive skating. Ice hockey made the switch easy from board to blades on ramps. Did both sports for awhile and then roller blading took over my life

I remember Rob and crew came down to Pensacola to judge a park contest. I was in the beginner division. Just a young kid with some custom Feinbergs. I ended up winning. But I also did a grabbed fishbrain across and down one of the boxes. Nothing earth shattering. Small obstacle. I was still starting out. But it felt great. At some point Rob says to me "hey man that fishbrain was sick (or dope or something)". I've obviously never forgotten that. One of my favorite skating days. Before I started filming. Before I had a crew I skated with. Meant a ton. Somewhere I have the footage of him Mcing and judging.

Rob Thompson was one of my favorite skaters. Still is. Dude could shred. Its so crazy to see him with white hair, we are all getting old lol. I can empathize with him about not being comfortable on skates anymore. It's great to hear a former pro actually admit that they've lost that touch because I felt horrible when it happened to me. I'm now feeling the itch to skate again but man I know it'll be a struggle.

I remember Rob skating in the pouring rain at Liverpool IMYTA, with one of the nastiest mullets I've ever seen. He was super upbeat and just loving every moment. Also, Underestimated is one of the hardest hitting blade videos ever made. Everyone nailed it in that film. And Majette put it together so well.

First time I remember seeing Rob he was doing backflips on the wallride at Ramp N Speed. I was told he was 8, but sounds like he was a bit older from this interview. I used to drive from Hueytown to skate Hunter St Baptist, it was a nice spot. I always thought Charles was a few years older than me, but we're the same age. I miss occasionally skating with them at RNS and The Wall. Always inspiring, especially watching Rob mature so hard around 99-00 when Salomon came around. 🔥

I am glad he mentioned the Nyc contest as up there because that was one of the first times i went to a big contest and went to new york city. That ledge round was memorable. Absolute annihilation and he was skating 38mph at the ledge. legend

Wow! Birmingham Alabama 39 year old skater here feeling so nostalgic watching Rob and Charles interviews. My wife and 3 kids got me rollerblades for Christmas which makes sense, since I haven't skated since I was 22 years old. Hurt my back 2nd time at skatepark and hearing Charles and rob talk about how they feel unconfident now gives me the feeling I'm not terrible... I'm just too old for this shit, but it's ok.😅

I’m going to say this and I legitimately think this is true I don’t think there was or is currently a better team than the Salomon one. 🙈😬 And what I mean is that you look at the Oscars together they were unbelievable Chaz Sands, Rob Thompson, Brandon Campbell and Vinny Minton. Not sure if Aaron Feinberg was around at the same time as them but yeah what a team! Chris Cheshire as well. Didn’t get a skate and was a bit later but damn what a blader!
