I've always been a fan of the heels but I liked Jim Brunzell. Great athlete. I got to see him live a few times at Maple Leaf Gardens and he had one of the greatest drop kicks I ever saw. After watching this video I appreciate him even more for his total honesty.

Jim Brunzell deserved so much better when he was in the WWF, instead of makking him a jobber later in his career. Brunzell was super athletic and could wrestle and is a great guy. Was lucky to meet him a few times.

I still remember the first time I saw Jim Brunzell, it was an AWA TV taping up in Minneapolis and he was wrestling Tag with Greg Gagne and after the match they were getting a brutal beatdown by Bockwinkel and Stevens and Larry Hennig who had been out with an injury (broken leg if I remember right) hit the ring and cleared out the Heels with "The Axe" gimmick and that's when he turned face and became Larry the Axe Hennig. I'll never forget the way the crowd (which really wasn't that large) popped and about blew the roof off the building, truly magical ..... That kicked off a months long feud and really elevated the High Fliers as a fan favorite tag team .... It was also the introduction of Bobby Heenan is the manager of Bockwinkel and Stevens neither of which needed a spokesman because they could both deliver top rate promos but it worked

Highlander and Bladerunner were my two favorite SciFi flicks. James, if you like all things AWA, there is a new podcast called AWA Unleashed. It has Mick Karch and George Shire who are legendary chroniclers of the AWA.

Really Amazing that even remember Highlander has them in match as liked those movies even the Series was cool. There can Only Be One hehe. Was big fan of AWA wrestling figures from Remco still have the wooden ring. Knew him mostly from the Killer Bees in WWF but they never let them win. I remember Pete upstate near Canada like Ogdensburgh or Clinton or Utica like falling asleep at wheel. I woke up like just in time to yell at him then another time in like rest stop was digging for change to get gas haha or coffee. So can relate to that McDaniel falling passing out. Really desolate up there they got nets for falling rocks. Mad Dog Vachon story was great opening plane door :). Greg another meh wrestler hehe. Verne Shady Greedy. Masks :).

I think paying taxes on your primary home is heinous . I am pretty much to the left . I do not mind paying taxes because I believe social services are a good thing . But jeez you should only pay taxes at the point of sales on your home . If you have 20 properties then 19 of them could fairly be taxed but not the one you live in .
