Whaaaaa? Can't jump and go forward? FEATURE CREEPER! Add a rocket burst to clear really hard obstacles! Maybe only allow a limited number of rocket bursts per level. "What on Earth?!" You should be saying "What on Moon?!" Finished watching. Nicely done! It is so fun watching you work through all of this. Perhaps later you could revisit "joystick mysteries" and maybe get into how "hi-res joystick code works." I have both a CoCoMAX thing and the Tandy thing. If you need either, I would be happy to lend them to you!

@@CocoTownRetro The mystery of the "hi-res joystick interface" has been with me since the first time I'd heard of them. Tandy put one out and CoCoMax did one as a cartridge. I can't imagine this is relevant to your current series, but you might then move into "and OTHER CoCo mysteries series!" I can already hear your voice saying that title and it already sounds funny and entertaining to me. Wait, are you saying an on-board jump rocket was already part of the game plan? SPOILER ALERT!!!!

It's going to be interesting, seeing you tearing your hair out when you try to implement jumping while shooting. 😉 Yeah, I know, you'll probably not allow shooting while jumping, but I think that sooner or later you'll want to implement it anyway. And in any case, you're going to have to somehow cope with jumping right after a shot has been released so that the shot is just above the moon buggy as it jumps... into its own shot! 😆

@@CocoTownRetro Shooting while in air could do bad things to the ship. If you're shooting forward it could knock you backward and if you're shooting up it should send you down faster! And if there's a hole while shooting and recoil sends it down? Kablooie!
