JUMPING CHRISTMAS TREES ON MY HORSES (+new sponsor reveal) ~ Vlogmas day 10

Day 10!!! Time is literally flying by. So, when I asked you guys what you would like to see during vlogmas this idea came up many times. So here we have it, jumping decorated Christmas trees on the ponies 🙈.
I won't lie I am still rather surprised at how well Teddy Bear dealt with the situation, perhaps she is finally growing up. If you decide to give this a go make sure you upload your response on my Challenge Social profile because I really want to see.

hey! latest reply ever, but because horses are prey animals, they are very very sensitive to small changes and movements, if something moves even an inch, it’s usually recognised in their brain as a totally new thing, that’s why they’re scared of it again!

Went to get a tree Yesterday with my Dad. We always cut down our tree ourselves, and then haul it back on my little Fiat Panda. This year we got a quite smallish one, so it actually fit INSIDE my Fiat Panda....

Hi Meg! I have the same problem with my 20 yr old ex eventer with rushing alot sometimes. What I do to keep him calm is I do lots of circles, big and small. And maybe jump different jumps every now and then. This method might work with some of youre ponies! You guys are awesome!

We've always done this with our show jumpers in Canada, our arena is decently small and we just call it ambush training. We canter and we canter and BAMN jump with plastic pigs under it, or a bench, or anything we can safely put under. Means when we go out and the poles are shiny and there's a buffalo statue in the corner of the ring(really mean spruce meadows btw) they're like "k sure". It's also very fun ;)
