Jun Hoong Cheong's Diving triumph over China | Best of FINA 2017

Jun Hoong Cheong had almost given up Diving after a surgery in 2009 but she fought hard and had an unbelievable comeback at the FINA World Championships in Budapest in 2017 and vanquished the reigning Chinese Olympic champion.

And the most funny part, he was replaced with a Australian junior coach who barely got enough experience in handling senior squad. The result: Our worst performance medal in diving from recent Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast. Well done ISN and MSN with your politics and stupid decision.

results at the gold coast its not consider under new coach programme. stop blamming the new coach. he even not the head coach, current head coach is yukun. Christian Brooker only 4 months with the team. see the result after 1 year. like pandelela said after gold coast event, she happier than before. under zhuliang guidance she always crying after finished a bad dive. but now she does't cry because of sport science they taught. myself like most of diving fans..strongly oppose zhuliang contract termination after heard the new last year. ..and yeah just yesterday pandelela/jun hoong won the historic gold at FINA Diving World Series Montreal...1st time ever beat the chinese and for the 1st time also on world siries they never failed produce at least one medal in each siries

yes arjel you are right she and pandelela won gold medal the synco 10 m platform at montreal canada after commonwealth games gold cost then before montreal bronze medal at beijing fina driving behind north korea pair all even after gold cost games,,,

@@arjelarshed Yukun kata masa tu dia nak habiskan lebihan contract je lepas tu nak blah tak nak sambung ikut Zhuliang. Guess what, sekarang diorang hantar JunHoong ke china untuk train dengan Yang Zhuliang untuk persiapan last olimpik qualification bulan 4 ni. So buat apa sacked the coach kalau last2 end up hantar athlete training balik dengan coach lama. Politik ISN ngan MSN tak pernah berubah. Macam BAM sekarang. Masuk je Wong Chun Han jadi pengarah kejurulatihan, habis badminton . Dekat setahun dah, apa pun tak ada hasil dekat international level

@@raymondheekokkeong2427 Finally spot someone share same opinion with me. Just take the lastest competition, World Diving Cup 2021, they even do not take photographs together. Actually, in my opinion, dual pair of Pandelela and Jun hoong has greatest chance to beat China pair in women 10 m synchronized diving, but now this pair has been separated due to a series of problems. Fortunately now Jun hoong secure a seat for women 10 metre platform. I don't know what to say, but Malaysia diving team has done a big mistake to separate Jun hoong and Pandelela in synchronized diving. Not to say women 3 metre diving. Ng and Dhabitah even failed to secure a spot for women 3 metre synchronized diving. And for men diving, it is getting worse and worse from aspects of quality and difficulty. While other nation men divers are doing difficulty of 3.6 , 3.8, Malaysia team still stick to the same set of difficulty with 3.2, 3.3. All in all, Malaysia diving team has failed to maintain the honor, and it is a very obvious truth despite many supporters will disagree with it, by saying Pandelela winning gold medal at World Diving Cup 2021. But, we have to see the core problem. The problem is inconsistency and lack of spirit among the divers ! Olympics 2021 in July later may be their chances to show how their sports science work.....
