Brought my parents to live here with us in USA so i can better take care of them. Medical facilities are much better here then Pakistan. Its a tough task to keep them busy though so they dont miss home. But i agree with most of your points. Parents are biggest blessing of Allah.

The same question came in my head as I am living abroad as well. But technology has become so much advanced. That we can video call them for hours free of cost. I do speak to my parents daily on videos. And they says we wait for ur call daily and we feel so fresh after talking to you our son. Conclusion!, there is no excuse enough

Agree to your point, our parents need our time and love. Most of the people complain that their parents do not understand them as their is generation gap and therefore they talk less or spend less time with them but I think it's our duty to fill that generation gap by taking them with us, by letting them know how our generation thinks, by educating them about the trendz going on. We should also take care of their taste and preferences instead of imposing our thought on them, in this way we can fill that generation gap and they will be our best friend. I have seen parents are very good learner and they love to know the technologies and the trendz with the growing generation but depends how much initiative we are taking. So if we want them to understand us, we have to understand them first.
