It makes sense that Baekhyun (any of them really) can be more open about when they were 12 members now. Recall that most of the earlier clips were from 2014, 2015, and 2016. If you did not keep up with the ex-members, Krishantao's lawsuits lasted for years. The members couldn't talk about them during that time, legally, it was in their best interests not to mention each other and SM surely made sure they avoided talking about them as much as possible. Now, the suits are long and over (even if SM is still petty), so it makes sense in 2019 and 2020, we can see them be more open about the time when they were 12. Tao has been very open, for example, about mentioning all the members and his trainee days in later years. Even Kai made reference to Kris in Ko Ko Bop era (IIRC). They're able to be more open now than they could then.

I believe once the contract thing for Tao, Kris and Luhan are over. Both the current and former members will be able to talk about each other and even share old stories. I don't think they ever had problems with each other. It was just with SM. I hope one day, even if they choose not to get back together again. To have a reunion of some sort and maybe sing Overdose.

I don't know but it's really hard to hold up my tears whenever I see videos like this. How many years have passed when they are still 12 but I can't still move on from the pain when these chinese members left 1 by 1. I didn't even realize that I have a strong emotional attachment to OT12. I became an inactive fan since 2017 because I got addicted to anime. I just became an active fan again this October and I re watched their EXO SHOWTIME and I fucking cried like an idiot whenever I see all of them in one frame. Especially the last episode, when Kris run to the ocean and shouted "EXO Saranghaja" like wtf how am I supposed to feel happy after watching this and you are not with them anymore. I didn't hate the members who left and I still love them for being an EXO member in just a short time. It's almost 10 years since I became their fan and here I am, I still can't move on from the memories when they are still 12. I think I will never forget the memories of OT12, 9 in our eyes but 12 in our hearts indeed. I just hope that the fans will never forget the memories that the OT12 gave to us and continue on supporting the OT9 whatever happens. EXO-Ls, we all stan the right group and I hope that you guys will stay with us until the end. Let's give EXO all our love and support as much as we can :)) I believe on this fandom who has been there since from the start until now. EXO-L, I love you all!

PS: I wished SM had assigned Baekhyun to EXO-M at that time… If Baekhyun had been in EXO-M, I thought Kris would have someone to… I don’t know, emotionally tie him more to the group… or someone he could trust a bit to talk to about his unhappiness and stress… then, Kris might have left later, instead of suddenly in 2014… In a Chinese show, Kris was asked to complain something about all the 11 members, when he walked to Baekhyun, he simply skipped him, then Baekhyun dropped his head and acted that he was sad because Kris wouldn’t even talk about him, then Kris went back and hugged his shoulder, smiling and said (it was because Baek was perfect in his view, Kris couldn’t even think of one thing about Baek that he was not happy with) “(this one) is very good, I like him, I like him”. And in an English show, Baekhyun was asked if you could choose one more member to be added into EXO-K, who would you choose, he said Kris. Then later Kris was asked who would you add into EXO-M if you could choose, Kris said Baekhyun. Baekhyun said he was happy that Kris picked him, but he thought why Kris chose him was because he chose Kris before. Realistically, the days of OT12 are over. It's kind of selfish for fans to keep wanting those days back... The ex-members have been out of the group longer than they were in it. Best to move on and look forward to OT9 in a few years. Enjoy the paths they have chosen to take.
