Good explanation, I ordered one to try it out. I plan on using it on a dual motor ebike. Since the display is adressable I should be able to using one display and 2 shunts, as the cycle is wired for dual motor, dual controller, dual battery...I currently use the JUNTEK MPT-7210A for charging my my dual battery setup, excellent product. Keep up the great work on your products JUNTEK!

Wow! i'll need to play that video multiple times and at 1/4 speed, to digest all the parameter function and settings. Finally, an explicit video to untangle such a valuable instrument. I noticed that a lot of the parameters resemble that of ANT BMS, the newer version. So that will help there, as they also have a PC monitor software as an option to bluetooth monitoring. Thanks for the clear explanations, but I think a link to the manual makes sense so that we can follow along the videos and memorize all those mnemonics.

From your documentation: OCP - positive over-current protection (6:59) NCP - negative over-current protection (7:27)

Hello, this series of products cannot obtain other ranges by replacing the shunt module, because the data is debugged before leaving the factory. If other shunts are replaced, the measurement accuracy will be affected.

Hello! Thank you for creating this video! I have a question regarding its usage. Can the kl110f be used with cars or car starter batteries? If yes, do I need a larger shunt due to the spike in current caused by the car starting? I want to monitor parasitic drain current, which is under 1A. However, I'm unsure if I need a larger shunt as my car battery has 500-600 cold crank amps (Honda Element 4.2L, 4 cylinder). I've seen many people using this product in RVs, but I'm not sure if they're using it on their starter battery or on their secondary/leisure battery only. I would appreciate any thoughts you may have on this. Unfortunately, I'm unable to reach the manufacturer.

Hello, it can be used for starting batteries in cars. It is no problem for our shunt to withstand increased current in a short period of time.

@@junctek1802 oh great!! I’m trying to mostly monitor lower current sizes in the .020A to 2A range. I think my Honda Element battery has a 600A Cold Cranking Amps rating. What size shunt model would your recommend for tracking low currents but also with a 600CA battery?

@@junctek1802 please let me known what model you recommend form measuring smaller currents between .025A to 5A but that also works on a 600 Cold Cranking Amps CCA car battery (Honda Element, a small SUV 4 cylinder engine). I’m want to make my purchase by the 12th or 13th. There is another company that makes something similar but I would buy the Junctek if I could know which model to get. Thanks!

@@junctek1802 Hi! I can't find documentation (yet) on how to hook a system like this up to a car starter battery. I see lots of documentation and examples of hookups to leisure / 2nd batteries in rv’s ( deep cycle with regular postive and negative terminals ). On a starter battery, would oone install the shunt under the hood and a new, parallel negative/ground car jumper cable off the battery and run it to the starter chassis bolt? Or... Would they just piggyback/add the shut-in series: negative battery terminal -> new jumper negative/ ground jumper (same 4AWG as an original jumper) --> shunt --> original negative/jumper 4WG jumper --> starter ground chassis bolt? Or something else? Are these shunts weather and dust-resistant like the car starter batter and so are okay to instill under the hood? Pleeese reply would be so helpful . Thanks!

Hi, just a question, will the accumulated values and settinga will reset if the unit is disconnected to power? or it will be retained somehow on a memory?

After power off, the data will be saved in the measurement module. It can also export data through the mobile app while it is working.

It looks like a regular phone cable that plugged into the wall for years.... compare the color codes inside it for comparison as i am not exactly sure. Desert Hills resident here

You can buy RJ9 4P crystal head pressed communication cable.

Do you have wiring diagram for KG160F. Because the accumulated kwh or electricity consumption only appears while charging. It does not work while discharging or am i missing something?

Hello, the new firmware kW only accumulates the charged power, and the ah in the bottom line only accumulates the discharged power; This is more differentiated than previous firmware.

Compared with KG, KH adds an audible alarm function and a shunt housing.

I could care less about all the protections and calibration settings I need need need to know the details on what all the advanced settings are The manual and all the videos on you tube do NOT address all the advanced settings They are unclear on how to set along with the settings for charge remaining if you don’t fully discharge your batteries. And how about firmware update codes and downloads? Thank you
