After the way EB called plays last year, I agree that the Offense should be better this year. But I expect the offense could struggle early, I believe that they will be better at years end, than they are at the start of the season.

I am hoping with the wide open quick air raid offense the offensive lineman won't have to hold their blocks as long. Getting the ball out of a QB's hands really quick is a great way to mask O-Line problems.

This is the 2019, 2-13 season, all over again. Where our best player is a right guard. Our rookie first round QB was surrounded by great players in college. A one year wonder. Luckily, the coaches and QB are different, and you can't simply write them off. All rookie QBs and first year head coaches have their struggles. Plus, new ownership and front office. The expectations for Jayden Daniels is completely unrealistic. Of the top 6 QBs in the draft, he was THE least prepared for the NFL. Ironically, Michael Penix Jr. was the most prepared, and he's going to sit. The 2nd was Bo Nix.

At this point Adam Peters is making changes just to make changes. Can't fault him for it either. Weve consistently been a bottom tier team for the last 6-8 years, really 30 years with some flukes. That's on players, coaching, and the culture of being ok with losing. So no one on this team aside from maybe tmac and cosmi was worth bringing back. To change the culture you have to get rid of the guys who are used to losing. It may or may not be their fault but when your losing for so often and so long it becomes the normal and you can't help but to at least partially accept it. It's demoralizing to the players themselves, it'll suck the drive right out of you and that feeling will spread to the new players coming in. We needed to purge as many guys as possible. I wish Curtis Samuel nothing but good fortune. It's what was best for the team and most likely what was best for him. He's probably going to have a good year and I'm happy for him. New beginnings for all.
